MxSecure’s MxChart™ EMR Now iPad Compatible
Health care providers can now access patient medical records in MxChart wherever they are, via Apple iPad
Electronic medical records software and medical transcription services provider, MxSecure, Inc., today announced that MxChart, its electronic medical records software, is now compatible with the Apple iPad.
“With Apple selling 1 million iPads within the first month, it’s easy to predict that mobile devices like this will be widely adopted by the medical profession,” says MxSecure’s President and CEO, Colin Christie. “We see a lot of situations where immediate access to a patient’s medical records, and the ability to review recent labs, X-rays or other diagnostic test results on the run, would add great value to that patient/provider interaction.
“MxSecure has always strived to make accurate, timely information available as close as possible to where critical patient-care decisions are made,” Christie continues. “MxChart’s compatibility with the iPad gives us a new vehicle for doing that.”
